World Book and Copyright Day and International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019 @ Woodstock School, India

To mark the World Book and Copyright Day and Year of indigenous Languages 2019, Woodstock School Library would be organizing an event on April 23rd, which would include a Book Fair, Book Donation Drive for underprivileged children of the Tihri area ( Himalayan region), Book Launch’ Wrap me in an Indian Quilt’, written by an American author (Woodstock School alumni) which is being translated ( each page) in a different indigenous language by the diverse community of Woodstock students who would be honored with a commendation on the day.

There would be competitions at school and national level under the umbrella of School Library Association, India which are: share a story  called in indigenous languages and design a ‘Reading Mascot’.
