Kulturang Bukidnon is an radio broad casting event participated by the students of Bukidnon State University taking up Bachelor of Arts and Sciences major in English Language. This event serve as our major requirement in Language and culture subject.
A live broadcasting to provide basic understanding of the indigenous culture of the ICCs in Bukidnon.
Kaamulan is a yearly celebration of the people from Bukidnon, Highlighting the Lumad people who symbolizes the Kaamulan Festival. This Festival also showcasing the bountiful product made by Bukidnon people. The government gives the biggest effort for this event to be more successful, they have prepared different activities that involves the people of the different tribes. They also invites known people to performed and witness the celebration of Kaamulan Festival.
This broadcasting will be a great help in the preservation of the culture and traditions of ICC's. Especially nowadays that young generation are more interested in other cultures.
Kaamulan festival is known for showcasing the different tribes of bukidnon and presenting their different dance and music to the people.
Dans le cadre de l'Année internationale des langues autochtones, la Ville de Val-d'Or et l'Office du tourisme et des congrès de Val-d'Or ont choisi d'inclure, sur la carte officielle de la ville qui sert également de carte touristique) d'inclure des noms de lieux en langue Anishnabe, Val-d'Or se trouvant en territoire traditionnel non-cédé de la Nation Anishnabe. Des liens ont donc été établis avec la Communauté Anishnabe de Lac-Simon, voisine de Val-d'Or, afin de partager les informations que nous détenions quant aux noms de lieux - surtout les noms de cours d'eau - qui étaient utilisés avant qu'une vague de dénominations allochtones ne déferle quand la région a été colonisée, entre les années 1910 et les années 1940.
La carte sera imprimée en plusieurs milliers d'exemplaires. Nous la voyons comme une première étape dans le rétablissement des noms de lieux en langue Anishnabe, et comme un tremplin à la réflexion sur l'occupation pacifique et conjointe du territoire.
