        Késhjéé’: The Navajo Shoe Game

        / /

Késhjéé’ is only played in the winter after the first freeze of the year has occurred. Késhjéé’ or the Shoe Game originated due to the disagreement of how long the day or night should last. The first game ended in a draw and as a result today we have both day and night. Késhjéé’ is more than a story, it is a teaching tool for everyone.
